Bespoke SEO

There’s no such thing as one-size-fits-all when it comes to Search Engine Optimisation (SEO). Your business doesn’t fit into a template. I’ll tailor a custom strategy for your website to cover all SEO angles to drive relevant traffic that converts into leads and customers.

My Approach To SEO

Gone are the days when people trawled through the Yellow Pages to find local professional services. Nowadays, the Internet and technology are an integral part of our lives. Information is so accessible, and your potential clients are using search engines every day to find answers to their questions. I make sure they find you!

SEO is one of the best traffic sources as it generates more visits than paid ads, and it continues to produce results for you long after you have stopped paying for it.

I’m driven by metrics that matter. Rankings are important, but they are only one part of the strategy. My goal is to generate more business for you by driving new clients to your website through Search Engine Optimisation. My SEO approach makes sure you get a return on your investment.

I am honest and transparent. I will not keep you in the dark. You will receive monthly reports on the work that has been done, and I’ll check in with you with a monthly call to discuss strategy, the results, and future campaigns. Most agencies will not bother as they count on volumes and prefer quantity over quality. I only work with a small number of clients at a time to ensure high-quality work.

I don’t offer cheap SEO. Like everything in life, with SEO, you get what you pay for. You pay me for my experience, my hours of training, and my knowledge.

Crafting Your Bespoke SEO Campaign

Every SEO campaign is different and should be custom-tailored for your business. A single tactic will not work for every company. Crafting and implementing a successful SEO campaign depends on your current marketing strategy, what has been done in the past, and how strong your competitors are in terms of SEO.

01. Comprehensive SEO Analysis

To start, I’ll perform an SEO analysis of your website and flag technical issues that prevent search engines crawling and indexing your website pages. I work with hundreds of ranking factors to determine the steps that need to be taken to improve an online presence.

02. Fixing Technical Issues

I will make sure your website provides the best canvas for your content, and nothing prevents Google and other search engines from crawling and indexing it.

03. Optimising Content

I will make sure pages are sending strong signals to search engines and users. At this stage, we will look at factors such as meta titles, descriptions, word counts and duplicate content, bounce rates, and fix the issues.

04. Off-page Optimisation

Your website’s popularity is an important factor to ensure it ranks well in search. I will clean up and build new local citations and execute a link building strategy for your business. All the links I create are manual, so you don’t need to worry about being penalised.

05. Content Marketing

Content marketing helps businesses create cost-effective sources of website traffic and new leads. It expands a website’s footprint, creates opportunities for others to link to you (or social shares), and positions you as an expert in your industry. If just one blog post brings you a good amount of organic traffic and generates leads, consider what ten blog posts can help you achieve. I will craft a content marketing strategy for you, based on your industry, business goals, and competitors.

06. Measuring Performance

When measuring the performance of an SEO campaign, I always use revenue as a metric. I will not send you meaningless reports that leave you feeling confused about the success of a campaign. I speak your language – I will share with you how many leads, conversions, or sales you have made from organic search.

What is SEO?

SEO or Search Engine Optimisation is the process of improving your website presence in search. When users type a specific query related to your product or service, your website should rank as high as possible to get more visitors, and eventually turn them into customers.

Behind the search engine algorithms are hundreds of factors that determine which website will be shown higher in search. Website speed, mobile responsiveness, and how your website is coded to include information that search engines can crawl and understand are some of the factors involved. Others include how unique and valuable the information presented on your website is. Of course, last but not least is your website’s popularity, measured by links and citations.

Do I need to hire an SEO Consultant?

SEO is a specialised skill and needs experience and in-depth knowledge to get right. It can’t be mastered overnight.  If you have the resources and the time, sure you can do it yourself, but building an in-house team and acquiring the knowledge is time-consuming and may turn out to be more expensive than hiring an SEO consultant. An SEO consultant will handle everything for you so that you can focus on your business.

How much do SEO services cost?

The price of SEO services varies quite a bit, as does the quality of SEO work. While the cost is an important consideration, what really matters is the value you’ll receive. SEO is a tool used to generate revenue. Imagine you invest $1 and receive $2 in return, the value of that service becomes higher, and the cost is no longer an issue. The question then becomes, how much can you afford to invest?

SEO takes time and consistent effort. It’s not a quick fix, and you won’t get the desired results from a cheap SEO package deal. “Cheap” SEO services may cost you more in the long run or simply won’t bring the results you want.

How long does SEO take to work?

There is no simple answer to this question. The time that would take for you to see a return on investment depends on your industry, competitors, website, business offering, and history of your website – they are all tied together.

You don’t create a good SEO campaign; you build it. If you think of building a house, what would you do first? You would lay a strong foundation down and then continue building on it. It’s not going to happen overnight. And if you skipped the foundation, a huff and a puff will blow your house down.

When it comes to search engine marketing, you need to take the same approach. You want to build your SEO campaigns as you’d make your house – with a strong foundation.

How should I plan and budget for SEO?

Before going into that, I need to mention that SEO is a long-term strategy, and results should not be expected in a month, two or three. You should be prepared to invest at least six months before you see the minimum results. Most SEO campaigns take from between a year and 18 months to start showing a return on investment.

Good SEO is not cheap. A quality SEO service will cost you anywhere between $1,500 and $2,500, or even more. Some companies even pay $10,000 per month.

  • SEO is a valuable investment. It’s important to know that in the long term, you will get a return on investment (ROI).
  • SEO results last. Good content continues to bring clients and sales long after you have stopped paying for it.

The best way to decide if an investment is worth it is to put a value on your goals. If we take a conveyancing firm as an example, the average conveyancing fee for buying a property would be between $500 to $2,200. So if we do the maths, 1-5 leads a month generated from SEO are enough to get you to break even, and after this, it comes back to you as revenue.
